By the way, the power of the PT heater can be controlled by CAN to give a signal to frequency conversion. If a relay controller is used, the adjustment method may be different.

Solution 1: PTC heater with a hard controlling system
If you use relay controller, you also can adopts PTC heater with its controlling system, this control method is belong to hard controller. The PTC heater is divided into several gears according to its power. Such as 6 KW high voltage PTC heater, you can divide the 6KW heater into three gears, the first gear is 2KW, the second gear is 4KW, and the highest grade is 6KW. There are three gears in total.

Solution 2: PTC heater no controlling system just 2 High Voltage + - wire
If you use relay controller, just remove the controller box, and with 2 High Voltage + - wire, you can use it, and If it is in this case, you can't use frequency conversion adjustment, you can only run PTC at full power, If the high voltage PTC is controlled by a relay at full power, the service life may not be as long as the CAN controller to control the high voltage PTC, this is why in China market, Big Brand Vehicle manufacturer use CAN controller to control Vehicle HVAC system
What is the normal operating temperature of PTC heater in this situation? that is depending on what is the wind speed? The temperature of PTC is different under different conditions, usually the drying working temperature of PTC is 220℃without wind. So If you need add a bimetal thermostat to protection against high thermal temp., We suggest generally adding a temperature switch of 90℃

4. The terminal should be installed firmly, and the wiring harness should be intact when wiring to avoid falling off and leakage;
5. PTC heating components have anti-dry performance;
6. Heat-generating components and over-temperature insurance adopt high-temperature resistance (250°C) and high-voltage resistance (750V) PTFE lead wires;
7. Under the environment required for the experiment, the electric heating core is externally applied with a voltage of 2550VAC, the applied voltage time is 60S, the leakage current is <5mA, no breakdown, flashover;
8. Under the environmental conditions required for the test, add 900VDC voltage to the electric heating core, and the insulation resistance is ≥100 MΩ;
1000VDC voltage is externally applied between the electric heating core and the over-temperature insurance, the insulation resistance is ≥ 50MΩ
8.The over-temperature insurance terminal should be firmly connected without falling off, and the terminal sheath should have good high temperature resistance, corrosion resistance and flame retardant properties.
